Wine shop

the knowledge of
cellar door sale

Finally. From 1 June 2025, it will be possible to buy beverages after visiting us. This is thanks to the Farm Sales Act, which was designed with the visitor experience in mind. In connection with a paid experience - lasting at least half an hour - you can purchase a small amount of alcohol to take away. Systembolaget still has a retail monopoly in Sweden.
So. How does this work in practice here at Kullabergs Vingård?

We offer various activities that all give you the green light to shop.
You can join a guided tour including tasting, which takes about 1,5 hour. During the summer, these tours are arranged twice a day.
We also offer tastings in our old winery, now a distillery. This experience takes about 30 minutes.
During the season, we offer a set lunch with accompanying beverages and a lecture, starting at 12 noon. Afterwards, you are welcome to visit the shop.
When we organise events, such as theme nights, tasting dinners with guest chefs, etcetera, you can also shop.

What a fantastic Sunday it was when we opened the farm shop with 200 people on the first guided tour. The mood and atmosphere were fantastic – after all, it had been over 100 years since anyone had been able to buy wine outside Systembolaget.

CEO Victor Dahl about the day:
“We passed the knowledge test at the town hall in the morning. That was nice, considering that the media from SVT, TV4, SR, HD and TT were there…. When the test was graded, officials from Höganäs municipality handed over the permit to conduct sales.

In the morning, Höganäs mayor Peter Schölander came for a guided tour and to buy the first bottle of wine. Considering all the hard work that Höganäs municipality has put into wine sales over the years, it felt nice that the mayor was the first customer.

At 1 p.m., it was time for the grand opening, with 200 people in attendance. We took a guided tour of the vineyard. Wine expert Mikael Mölstad talked about Swedish wine, and our winemakers Nicola D'Agostini and Helena Lindberg talked about the vineyard and our wines.

Governor Annelie Hulthén (see photo) cut the ribbon during the ceremony. Anneli was here 2,5 years ago and cut the ribbon when our new winery was inaugurated.
Now customers could come in and shop!

We worked hard to get through the queue. The Skänken wine bar was open all afternoon for those who were not in such a hurry.”
