the season

from grape to bottle

High quality is the result of hard work. It's about being present - observing, tasting, smelling, acting. All so that you can make informed decisions. Working closely to the process means that we can take advantage of the grape's full potential.
”Here in Sweden there’s no long tradition of growing vines, so it’s of outmost importance that we have a careful methodology and document every little step”, according to the winemakers Helena Lindberg and Nicola D’agostini.
The pioneering spirit is backed by proven experience. Building multi-layered wines that preserve the fruit requires reflection in the cellar. "We use a combination of steel and oak. Steel to highlight the fruit, acidity and aromatics; barrels for more complexity and roundness”, says Nicola D’agostini.

Things are happen all the time. Winery work never stops and its all about the details.

New winery

Just in time for the 2022 harvest, it was completed – the new winery with the capacity to produce 100.000 bottles at full production. The first shovel hit the ground in autumn 2020. Just two years later, the winery was ready to move into and be used for several generations of winemakers to come.
The winery was designed in collaboration with Berglund Arkitekter and was nominated for the prestigious Swedish Wood Award 2024.

“We have designed a building that meets all the functional requirements of a modern winery,” says Paulina Berglund from Berglund Arkitekter, who is also one of the winery's owners, emphasizing that the building has also been designed to fit in with the traditional cultural landscape.
She also stressed the choice of materials:
"With a glulam frame and solid wood walls, it meets our sustainability requirements.”
The classic four-winged farm construction enables it to serve multiple purposes beyond wine production – it’s also houses an event/exhibition hall and a conference room.
