Distillate
Delicately made with fruit
Wine is our main focus, but that doesn't stop us from being curious about what else can be made from fruit and berries around the vineyard and its surroundings. We produce distillates, partly from the press residues of the grapes, but also from what grows around the plantations. These are aromatic distillates where we distill gently and bring out the character of the fruit. Also here we work on a small scale - very small to be honest. First we harvest the fruit, which then ferment. At the final stage of fermentation, we distill the mash to retain as much aroma as possible.
The distillery is a cherished place for us. It was here that we made our first wines.

Bränneslyckan Druva Fatlagrad
Bränneslyckan is made from the best grape pomace, then aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months. This is excellent both as an aperitif and as a digestif, for example with coffee and dessert after your meal.
-

Bränneslyckan Ädeldestillat Druva
A clear distillate with maximum flavours. Bränneslyckan Druva is made from the prime pomace, which we distill and then keep in steel tanks for 15 months for a deeper character. The pomace is mostly Solaris, which offers an aromatic and finely tuned structure in the glass.

Apelåker Ädeldestillat Äpple Fatlagrad
Apelåker is a delicate distillate based on our beloved apples. For more complexity and deeper notes, it has been aged for 36 months in cherry barrels.
Available at Systembolaget. -

Apelåker Ädeldestillat Äpple
This distillate is on the more aromatic side, to preserve the character of the raw fruit. Here the apples come from old trees that grow in our own garden.
-

Ädeldestillat Rönnbär
Rowan berries is a classic Swedish berry that can be found wild in many parts of the country. Our berries come from trees growing around the vineyard. Through distillation, we aim to concentrate and preserve the identity of the terroir, of our forest and the land.
-

Bitter Valnöt
A classic bitter made from our own walnuts that have been extracted into our distillate. A distinct bitterness is balanced by strength and flavour. Something for the brave!
-

Solstrålarna
If nature gives you lemons, make liqueur. Here is something as unusual as a Swedish lemon liqueur. The peels from untreated lemons and limes, which we grow on the farm, have been extracted into our own distillate. Exquisite balance between freshness and strength.

Bränneslyckan Twin Pack
Single grape distillate that comes in a 2-pack of 35 cl each. This brainchild is a distillate where we select certain grape varieties and distill separately, for maximum character of that particular grape. A delicate pure Pinot Nova is combined with a distillate of the more aromatic white grape Muscaris.
