Our Wine
modern wines
with multiple layers
Being located far north has many advantages. Our summer may be short, but offers long days with plenty of light and cool nights as harvest time approach. These conditions - combined with an almost constant breeze from the sea - contributes to a prolonged growing season with full aromatic ripeness and fresh acidity, resulting in wines that pair well with many different types of cuisine.
The goal is to make multi-layer wines and use the full potential of the grapes. Winemaker Helena Lindberg explains:
”We want a wine with several dimensions. We blend grapes that each contribute different components; Solaris provides grape maturity and depth, Souvignier Gris acidity and Muscaris aroma.”
To attain continuity in the wines of a new viticulture country like Sweden, it is important to document everything.
”It’s an ongoing quality assurance process that requires patience and no shortcuts”, says Helena Lindberg.
See our wines below. We only make certain wines in specific years, depending on what the season brings us.

Lysekilla Sparkling Extra Dry NV Rosé
A stunner! … some people would say.
This sparkling wine is a blend of two vintages, Solaris from 2014 and 2016, partly aged in oak barrels. Traditional method with 48 months on fine lees and topped up with a whisper of red wine to add fruit, color and excitement. A once in a lifetime wine, that cannot be done again.
White wine
-

Lyckeri
A fresh and fruity white wine with a straightforward style and a spine of multiple layers. The sappy tension comes from an assemblage of Solaris, Souvignier Gris, Muscaris and Donauriesling.
Vintage 2024 is available at Systembolaget.
-

Askesäng
A full-bodied white wine with a hint of oak. Almost equal parts of Souvignier Gris and Solaris, fermented in a combination of steel tanks and oak barrels of different age and size. A wine with a considerable character; it’s bready and nutty, but you also find fruits and spiciness. It shines alongside your plate.
-

Immelen
Immelen is our flagship wine that comes with both depth and breadth, ranging from distinctly clear fruit to bready, nutty and toasted notes. A well-balanced act between elegans and full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel.
Grape varieties vintage 2023: Solaris 66%, Souvignier Gris 27% and the rest Muscaris. This vintage is also available as a magnum.
Grape varieties 2022: 87% Solaris, 9% Souvignier Gris and 4% Muscaris.

K
A unique wine that we only made in 2018 and 2021 – a dry botrytis wine from Solaris. The 2021 season offered perfect conditions for noble rot, which we harvested and fermented separately before blending. The wine has a big body and mouthfeel, with notes of stone fruit, dried exotic fruits and a lovely spiciness. Complex and contrasting.
-

Langweg (EU-wine)
A cross-border collaboration where the grapes are grown in Styria, Austria, by our friend Franz Schuster. Vinification is done at Kullabergs Vingård, hence an EU wine. An interesting wine that combines a full body with drinkability, an proof of how exciting it can be if you go outside the box.
Two vintages are available at Systembolaget, 2022 and 2023. The 2022 was awarded gold in AWC, International Austrian Wine Challenge. -

Allekilla
Allekilla is the spring tide in our range.
A dry, steel tank-aged wine with low alcohol and lots of flavor. A blend of Souvignier Gris, Donauriesling, and Muscaris, where fruit and freshness take center stage. Crisp acidity bursting with energy, so enjoy chilled, with or without food - everything goes. Allekilla is only available in our farm shop and at certain restaurants.
Red wine
-

RVP
RVP is a cuvée of our main red grapes – Rondo, Regent, Cabaret Noir, and Pinot Nova – aged in oak barrels for 18 months. This combination creates a balanced wine with medium body and a rich aromatic character of blackcurrants, lingonberries, and roasted nuts. Smooth tannins and signs of maturity add further depth to the experience.
-

Himmelstorp 2022
Medium-bodied red wine from Pinot Nova, a cross with Pinot Noir in the lineage. Compare to the relative, here you’ll find a bit more structure and depth, darker color and overall, a more aromatic profile but still with our terroir-typical acidity.
Vintage 2022 is also available in magnum in our cellar door shop. -

Cappelsäng 2022
A structured wine from another of our promising red grapes, Cabaret Noir, a resistant cross with clear personality from its relative Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months. Medium body, elegant composition and layers of different nuances.
-

Björkeröd
Björkeröd is the new player in the team. A light red wine, best enjoyed slightly chilled (16 C). An unorthodox blend of our own Cabaret Noir and Souvignier Gris from our friend Franz Schuster in Austria. Smooth, fruity, playful - a curious child who was born in 2024 and we hopefully meet again.
Available at Systembolaget.
Other wines - Rosé, orange and sweet
-

Skäret
Our rosé wears its color with that honor. It comes from the oldest plantings of Rondo and Regent, now 20 years old. Skäret is fruit-driven with depth and matching acidity for a delightful liveliness – like a sip of Swedish summer. Partially aged in oak barrels for another dimension, with roasted nuts in the background.
-

Gylleröd
An orange wine from Souvignier Gris with 20 days of maceration on the skins. After fermentation, it has been aged in French oak barrels for four months. The skin contact brings structure and tannins, color and a full-bodied mouthfeel. We only make orange wine in special years, the latest vintage is 2021.
-

Paradiset
A semi-sweet white wine made from Solaris affected by noble rot. The 2021 vintage provided perfect conditions for botrytis to develop. Paradiset is a fruity wine with notes of stone fruit, dried fruit and a touch of sweet spiciness. This wine is a one-off, only made in 2021.
-

Solvik
Solvik is our first sweet dessert wine, from the 2023 vintage. It’s made from Solaris that have developed botrytis. It’s a special wine with character, where a silky texture meets punchy acidity and notes of saffron and dried fruit. The residual sweetness is 96 grams per liter, but is balanced by the high acidity.
Available at Systembolaget.
