About us
Learn more about Kullabergs Vingård
our vineyard
We run a vineyard in the southern Sweden, determined to make multy-level wines based on sustainable viticulture methods. We are located at the foot of the rocky Kullaberg in northwestern Skåne. The proximity to the sea and the long light summer days allow us to grow high quality grapes that retains its freshness; after all, this is a cool climate.
At the moment we cultivate 22 hectares, focusing on fungus-resistant PIWI grapes. Their resilience makes it easier to work for the good of the ecosystem. Both our winemakers have seen the benefits. As Helena Lindberg says: ”Despite all the rain this summer, there is hardly any rot in the red grapes. Pinot Nova, with its thin skin, just hung there.”
Nicola D’agostini emphasizes the grapes' ability to retain acidity; the basis for making lively and long-lasting wines.

Northern terroir
Our vineyard is located at the foot of Kullaberg that has major impact on the climate. Together with our proximity to the sea, this means that we are blessed with a relatively long growing season, considering our northern location. Our grapes develop generous aromas with lively acidity, which guarantees a wine with longevity.

Sustainability
We take pride in working regeneratively and using viticultural methods that improve soil health and structure and contribute to increased diversity in and around our vineyards. This permeates all our work – from the field to the bottle.

European funding
Kullabergs Vingård has received support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The support has been used for investments in new stainless steel tanks, where we will ferment and store wine and apple cider. We have also aquired support for system drainage of our new field at Strandbaden.
This creates opportunities for the business to expand and become a sustainable company.
